Who can apply?
We fund early-stage organizations, new initiatives within existing organizations, and new innovative public schools in the U.S. Ideas must align with one of our four investment areas: Innovative Schools, Learning Solutions, Teaching Reimagined, or Learning Differences.
Do you fund private schools, international organizations, or higher education?
No. We fund K–12 public education initiatives in the United States only. We do not fund private schools, schools that charge tuition, international organizations, or college or higher education work.
Do you fund policy work or 501(c)(4)s?
No. NewSchools does not fund policy-focused efforts or 501(c)(4) organizations.
Do you provide feedback on applications?
We are not able to provide individual feedback on applications.
