The Hub reimagines the high school experience by removing the walls between secondary and higher education. Grounded in a partnership with a Charlotte-based HBCU, the four-year model guides students from high school learners to collegiate scholars through near-peer HBCU mentors, university research and networking opportunities, and dual enrollment that can lead to up to 24 transferable college credits at no cost to families. The result is a rare combination for Charlotte families: a rigorous academic environment that is also culturally affirming, starting at age 14.
