Spokane Trades High School (SPSTHS) is a proposed four-year public high school designed to meet the evolving workforce and economic needs of the Spokane region through an integrated, career-focused instructional model. Its mission is to prepare students to graduate with both a Washington State high school diploma and an Associate of Applied Science degree from Spokane Community College, delivering an immersive Career and Technical Education model that strengthens academic, technical, and professional skills. Through a formal partnership with Spokane Community College, students access college instructors, labs, and campus resources beginning in ninth grade, learning core subjects through applied, industry-aligned contexts in fields like construction, manufacturing, and healthcare. Graduates will be prepared to enter the workforce, begin an apprenticeship, or continue to a four-year college, ready to contribute to Spokane’s talent pipeline and economy.
