Sankofa Montessori is a public school that will launch in Atlanta, Georgia in Fall 2023. The school intends to serve 550 students at full enrollment across grades K-6. Through a culturally responsive, child and family-centered Montessori education, Sankofa Montessori ensures that all children develop the knowledge, skills, and agency to lead purposeful lives. The vision of Sankofa Montessori is to harness each child’s inner drive to learn by creating a vibrant community of learners where each child is respected, has their identity affirmed, and has their curiosity encouraged.
