Building on more than a decade of success with its Lab School, One Stone will open One Stone Charter School (OSCS) in the 2027-28 school year to expand access to its high-quality learning model as a tuition-free public school. OSCS’s mission is to make students better leaders and the world a better place, centering student voice, purpose, and agency while connecting students to career, postsecondary, and community opportunities throughout Idaho. Its instructional model is grounded in competency-based, experiential learning and human-centered design, with students engaging in Design Lab, Project Good, entrepreneurship, creative studios, and internships, and growth assessed through One Stone’s Growth Framework and a competency-based transcript rather than traditional grading.
