Levitt Lab at Da Vinci Connect (LLDVC) is a 9-12 charter school opening in El Segundo, California, as part of the Da Vinci Schools network. Students complete foundational coursework through The Core, an AI-enabled, self-paced curriculum where adults work as Guides, content experts, advisors, and coaches who know each student individually. The school day blends self-paced learning with Guide-led Socratic Seminars, Wonder Sessions on complex societal issues, and student-designed credit-bearing projects, alongside concurrent enrollment through ASU for students who want to earn college credit while accelerating. Grounded in the Levitt Lab framework developed by economist Steve Levitt, LLDVC is among the first to bring this mastery-based model to an open-enrollment, diverse community.
