CSH_Alt emerged from a straightforward observation: Comp Sci High regularly receives applications from young people it cannot currently serve, including students returning from juvenile justice, youth in foster care, and those significantly overage and under-credited. These young people seek out Comp Sci High because its reputation signals it will fight for them. Today, it is forced to turn them away. That is a limitation of its model, not of their potential.
