Bellavista will be a 7-12 public charter school in Rochester integrating rigorous academics with high-quality arts instruction to prepare scholars academically, artistically, and personally. Its mission is to deliver an arts-integrated, culturally responsive education that strengthens achievement, fosters creativity, and nurtures the whole child, with a culture inspired by Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The model is built on three pillars, rigorous standards-aligned academics, daily arts programming, and whole-child supports like advisory and tutoring, and Bellavista will be the only open-enrollment option in the area that treats the arts as a core method of learning rather than an elective.
