Jill Rahman is a business executive and Fortune 500 board director who has a proven record in driving organizational change and transformational results. Ms. Rahman’s general management career encompasses leading both international and domestic businesses through strategy development, category leading growth, business turnarounds, and organizational optimization.
Jill retired from Conagra Brands in June 2020 and is currently the Chief Operating Officer for a non-profit, the Greater Chicago Food Depository. The Greater Chicago Food Depository is a member of the Feeding America network and Chicago’s food bank. The Food Depository is at the center of a network of more than seven hundred partner organizations working to end food insecurity and bring dignity and hope across Chicago. In her current role at the Food Depository, Jill leads Strategy, Operations, Procurement, Finance, IT, Marketing, and Human Resources. Joining the Food Depository during the COVID-19 pandemic, responding to the surge in need and developing a vision of operational transformation has been one of the greatest challenges and rewards of Jill’s career.
Prior to retiring from Conagra Brands, Jill was VP/General Manager of the Snacks Division, and her final role was President of International. Conagra Brands is an $11 billion branded food company, combining a culture of brand building with a clear focus on innovation. As President of International, Jill had P&L responsibility for Canada, Mexico, India, and Global Export. As a part of her role as President of International, she served as Chairman of the Board for Agro Tech Foods, Ltd of India (ATFL), a publicly traded partially owned subsidiary of Conagra Brands.
With over 30 years of experience at the Kroger Company, Kraft Foods, Newell Rubbermaid, and Conagra Brands, driving transformational results is how Jill distinguished herself throughout her career. Today she is using her depth of experience and her collaborative style at the Greater Chicago Food Depository and in board service.
Currently Jill serves on the board of Amcor, (NYSE: AMCR), a $15 billion global packaging company for consumer goods, food, beverage, medical and pharmaceutical markets and serves on the Compensation Committee. In addition, Jill serves on the board of TreeHouse Foods, Inc., (NYSE: THS), a $3.5 billion manufacturer and distributor of private label foods & beverages and serves on the Nominating & Governance and Audit Committees and previously chaired the Strategic Long-Range Planning Committee.
Jill holds a BBA from Howard University and an MBA from Indiana University. Jill lives in Chicago, IL and is privileged to have been married to a terrifically supportive husband for 28 years and together they have a son, love to travel, and enjoy time as a family.
