Hannah Groos

AI Fellow

Hannah Groos is a senior at Duke University studying Computer Science and Psychology, where she explores how emerging technologies shape human behavior, identity, and agency. She’s an Iowa native, Robertson Scholar, AI Fellow with the Rithm Project, and a Patman Political Engagement Fellow. She also serves as the Education Lead for the Cognitive Security Task Force at the Stanford Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence Center and is the founder of Duke’s Responsible Technology Club, Tech for Change. Hannah is driven to build technologies that strengthen agency, democratic systems, connection, and collective flourishing. In her free time, she teaches cycling and yoga classes, goes on long bike rides and hikes with friends, and enjoys creating Partiful invites for the events she hosts to bring together her communities.
