Analyst

Estefany Delgado is an Analyst on the Innovative Schools team at NewSchools Venture Fund.

Prior to joining NewSchools, Estefany taught 2nd grade for three years in Baltimore City Public Schools as part of Teach for America. She enjoyed forming relationships with parents to help her students succeed, and her scholars achieved the highest standardized test scores in their grade and an average of two-years of growth in reading and math. During the summer, Estefany coached and managed a ten-person cohort of new teachers as a Corps Member Advisor (CMA) during Teach for America’s Summer Institute.

Estefany is a first-generation American and college graduate, and credits both QuestBridge and the Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) program with helping her gain access to higher education. She earned an M.S. in Education from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in History from Yale University.
