Becky has spent 30 years leading efforts to enable children and families to thrive as a social entrepreneur and education strategy and philanthropy adviser. As a philanthropic advisor, Becky works with donors to connect their sense of purpose to their giving and supports donors ranging from launching their giving to investing more than $100M/year in social impact. She partners with Jen Holleran on Purposeful Giving workshops and retreats for donors and philanthropy advisors.
Becky has held a range of executive leadership roles including serving as CEO of Clayton Early Learning, a Denver-based early childhood organization. Prior to Clayton, Becky worked on a combination of grantmaking and program design focused on whole child development at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Becky launched Bellwether Education Partners’ Talent Advising practice and has worked on a range of strategy projects focused on educational equity. Becky served as Executive Director of Partners in School Innovation. Becky launched her career as a researcher at Stanford University. Becky is a Pahara/Aspen Global Leadership Network fellow. She has degrees in English, Education, and Business from Stanford University, where she was the Co-Captain of the national champion women’s swim team. Working toward creating the beloved community has always been her passion and purpose, including a highlight spending parts of the past three years teaching refugees to swim in Lesvos, Greece with her son.
