China Cardriche Clements is the Founder of Power Public Schools and the visionary behind the AI-empowered early-college model. Born and raised in South Cobb, China attended Riverside Elementary, Lindley Middle School, and graduated from Campbell High School’s International Baccalaureate Program. Her childhood dream — imagined at just five years old — was to one day build a school in her own community that honored students’ brilliance and prepared them for the future. China went on to earn her degree in Economics from Harvard University, began a career in investment banking, and later served as a Teach For America educator. As an AP/IB math teacher in San Antonio, she increased the pass rate by 92%, and as a founding high school principal, she led her school to 100% college acceptance.
Returning home to South Cobb, China launched an extensive community listening tour, gathering 500+ surveys and conducting 200+ one-on-one conversations to understand local needs, aspirations, and challenges. That work directly shaped the design of Power Public Schools and its commitment to personalized learning, community partnerships, whole-child support, and early-college pathways. When the charter development timeline unexpectedly compressed from six months to six weeks, China built custom AI agents to support the work — tools that helped generate 352 board prospects, secure $5 million, and obtain a facility. Today, China leads Power Public Schools with the same passion she carried as a young girl in Mableton classrooms: a belief that every child deserves a school designed for their success, their future, and their power.
