Pallavi Abraham

Associate Partner, Teaching Reimagined

Pallavi Abraham is an Associate Partner on the Teaching Reimagined team at NewSchools Venture Fund. In this role, she supports founders and teams working to make the teaching profession more sustainable, effective, and joyful.

Before joining NewSchools, Pallavi worked as a consultant in education and social impact, partnering with nonprofits, school systems, and funders on strategy, data systems, and impact measurement. She is also the co-founder and former Executive Director of Teachers Supporting Teachers, where she built the organization from the ground up into a citywide partner to Chicago Public Schools. Earlier in her career, she taught high school science in both traditional and alternative schools in Chicago.

Pallavi holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an M.S. in Education from Johns Hopkins University. She earned her B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Spanish from the University of Michigan. She lives in Chicago with her husband and gecko, Gobi Manchurian. Outside of work she enjoys hosting unnecessarily elaborate dinner parties and dabbling in all things artsy.
