Ash has spent his career advancing equity through public education. At Bay Ed Fund, he leads work with South San Francisco Unified to realize its community-driven vision. A former bilingual teacher from Houston, Ash has held leadership roles across schools, districts, state agencies, advocacy organizations, and philanthropy. He believes those closest to the challenges—students, families, and educators—must lead the way forward.
