John White is CEO of Great Minds PBC. He previously served as the Louisiana State Superintendent of Education and the Superintendent of the Louisiana Recovery District, where he led the rebuilding of public education in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Before that, John was Deputy Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education. He started his career as a high school English teacher in Jersey City, New Jersey.
