Prior to joining KIPP New Jersey, Veronica was a proud Newark Public Schools teacher and literacy coach for over nine years, serving grades 3–6. In 2013, Veronica became a founding kindergarten teacher at KIPP NJ Seek Academy. She is proud to be able to continue serving the city of Newark as a Principal at TEAM Academy, KIPP New Jersey’s flagship middle school. After almost 19 years serving the beautiful city of Newark, Veronica feels very much a part of the community and still maintains close relationships with many of her alumni.
