Robyn is an undergraduate at Howard University studying Media, Journalism, and Film and Afro-American Studies. She is passionate about community development and community storytelling. She wants to uplift and highlight the experiences of communities of color through writing, photojournalism, and documentary projects and specifically those of the Black community.
“As someone who benefited greatly from programs supplemental to my public school education, I recognize the value in those programs (and) I hope to be able to allocate sufficient funding to (those) that align with the needs of young people today.”
