Percilla Frizzell is the founder of Sacred Generations, a movement to heal system-impacted tribal families. Growing up impacted by generations of mass incarceration, Percilla continues to combat the legacy of cultural genocide through data sovereignty, civic leadership, and policy advocacy. Designed to heal voters, Sacred Vote was recognized by Fast Company as a “World Changing Idea” in the Social Justice, Experimental and General Excellence categories. Percilla graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a B.A. in criminal justice and a M.A. in education. After being a student and teacher in Teach For America classrooms, Percilla studied community organizing at the Harvard Kennedy School and learned trial advocacy at UC Davis School of Law. Percilla is an Echoing Green, Roddenberry and New Profit fellow backed by award-winning artist and activist John Legend.
