Elizabeth Casillas is a community organizer with RISE Colorado, a nonprofit that works to educate, engage, and empower low-income families and families of color to be change agents for educational equity in Colorado’s public school system. Elizabeth is the mother of four children and enjoys volunteering and working with the Latinx community to improve educational equity.
