Crystal Gray

Parent and Community Leader

Crystal Gray is a parent and a community leader in Washington, D.C. She understands the importance of addressing racial equity and works to connect people in her community to resources and tools to help them overcome barriers and lead healthy lives. Crystal holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, an Entrepreneurship Certificate in Business, and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of the District of Columbia. She is involved with several community organizations, including Parents Amplifying Voices in Education, Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative, and Cure the Streets, a public safety program. She co-founded a mentorship program at Ballou Senior High School and has served on the Neighbor to Neighbor Grantmaking Team, where she and other community members were responsible for adopting an application process and awarding small grants to community organizations.
