Alexis Aguilar (he/him/his) is an immigrant from Mexico raised in Stockton, California. He is a Teach For America corps member, currently working as a second-grade teacher in San Francisco. A UC Berkeley and Harvard Graduate School of Education graduate, Alexis advocates for immigrant and education reform. He is committed to creating inclusive, rigorous classrooms that empower students and disrupt cycles of hopelessness in underserved communities.
