Yu Ming Charter School’s second campus launched in Oakland, CA in Fall 2021. The school intends to serve 650 students at full enrollment across grades K-8. Yu Ming’s mission is to nurture our inclusive and diverse community to become empowered, engaged, and outstanding global citizens. Through learning experiences that are purposeful, rigorous, and personalized we unlock each student’s unique potential and nurture the necessary skills, mindsets, and values to make a positive impact in the world. Our model is anchored on four pillars: Academic Excellence, Mandarin Immersion Leadership, Whole Child Education, and fostering a Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive Community.
