Urban Assembly (UA) is a family of 22 public middle and high schools in New York City empowering students to achieve economic and social mobility. UA supports the network with programming, coaching, data analysis, and professional learning. Their model is centered around five pillars: core academic support, leadership support, college readiness, career readiness, and social & emotional learning. UA plans to partner with four other schools in New York City to pilot their model in 2019-20, while in parallel considering the viability of expanding to new region(s) in subsequent years.
