Tutored by Teacher’s English Language Arts Virtual Intervention Model provides small group, targeted instruction delivered by highly-qualified, credentialed teachers in an online setting. Students participate in small group interventions where teachers facilitate thoughtful scaffolding and focus on mastery of key literacy skills (e.g. phonics, decoding, vocabulary, fluency). The instructional framework emphasizes investing students in a culture of literacy that focuses on targeted skills while acknowledging the validity of students’ unique identities. With small group instruction, educators are able to prioritize student-led thinking and address individual needs by leveraging student discourse.
