The “Powered by PPHS” school model is an innovative partnership between the Purdue Polytechnic High School network and existing schools in rural/urban underserved communities. This model allows other schools to adopt the PPHS school model and implement it as either a whole-school or school-within-a-school. This model includes real-world projects, a unique personalized learning curriculum, small group enrichment, and competency-focused education, which have been highly effective in the three stand-alone campuses in Indiana. This model provides curriculum, marketing support, training for teachers and administrators, and ongoing training and support from PPHS experts throughout the school year. Purdue provides an opportunity for students to access their STEM-focused, hands-on, real-world project based learning approach.
