Maui Academy of Arts and Sciences is a public school that will launch on the North Shore of Maui, Hawai’i in Fall 2021. The school intends to serve 300 students at full enrollment across grades 6-8. Our children develop an emerging sense of their own purpose, internalizing that they are agents of change by engaging in learning that impacts the broader community. Working with experts beyond the walls of our school, our students self-select field work and projects of personal importance. The inquiry-based curriculum exposes students to community challenges in order to innovate real-world solutions. OR: Our school focuses on indoor/outdoor learning. Students work with community members on solutions-based projects.
