LIFE Academy is a public school that will launch in Montgomery, Alabama in Fall 2021. At full enrollment, LIFE intends to serve 810 students across grades K-8. Students are educated and supported:
1. Within a trauma sensitive learning environment,
2. With a priority of student connectedness,
3. Utilizing a culturally relevant, holistic pedagogy, and
4. In partnership with community
LIFE Academy’s unique “kid culture” establishes child curiosity, joy, and high energy engagement as the foundation of its programming. From sensory hallways to cooperative seating, LIFE breaks away from the traditional adult centered schooling models.
