Greg Mendez

Dr. Mendez is an accomplished educator, leader, and systems disruptor with over 18 years of experience in the field of education. Currently, Dr. Mendez serves as the principal at Skyline High School in Mesa Public Schools, Arizona, where he is working to build strategic school staffing models where educators work on teams to deliver rigorous teaching and learning experiences in the context of college and career pathways for students. His work concentrates on building the structures needed to empower teachers to exercise their agency. He believes that team-based staffing models in schools are a mechanism for catalyzing personalized learning, professional learning, and innovative practices that will ultimately redesign what schools could be.

Dr. Mendez holds a doctorate of education in leadership and innovation from Arizona State University (ASU), in addition to a Master’s degree in education leadership from ASU and another Master’s degree in athletic administration from Concordia University Irvine.
