Alex Grodd began his career as a 6th grade Social Studies teacher in the Atlanta Public Schools. He went on to found BetterLesson to address many of the instructional challenges he faced in the classroom. As CEO, he led BetterLesson to become one of the leading teacher professional development companies in the country, with over 70 employees and 125 instructional coaches. He is currently the founder and CEO of The Disagreement, a media and learning company that celebrates healthy disagreement in all walks of life. He is the host of the The Disagreement podcast, which brings together two experts to have a long-form, productive conversation on a contentious issue.
