Pueblo Nuevo Education and Development Group

The Pueblo Nuevo Education and Development Group champions the work of Camino Nuevo Charter Academy. It provides resources to enrich the experiences and services offered to pre-K-12 students, alumni, and their families. This organization participated in the second cohort of our ‘Transcend+NewSchools Collaborative’ – a multi-faceted nine-month program that guided districts and charter network leaders through a process to reimagine their schools.

Strive Preparatory Schools

STRIVE Prep is a community of public charter schools that challenges each of our scholars to learn to change their worlds. Founded on the belief that every child deserves a high-quality education right where they live, STRIVE- Prep serves 3,800 students in 11 schools across Denver. This organization participated in the second cohort of our ‘Transcend+NewSchools Collaborative’ – a multi-faceted nine-month program that guided districts and charter network leaders through a process to reimagine their schools.

Transcend Education

Transcend—a national nonprofit—supports communities to create and spread extraordinary, equitable learning environments. It supports communities to ignite and advance design journeys so more and more of them are eager and ready to pursue extraordinary, equitable learning environments; and partners with schools and other entities to build and spread “catalytic models,” so communities have a diverse range of outstanding, relevant options to adapt into their unique contexts. This organization was part of our investments in “”Service Providers,”” organizations that provided professional services for schools and districts to redesign various parts of their education offering.

San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District

Based in Texas, San Marcos CISD, in partnership with parents and the community, provides a quality education to all students, empowering them to pursue productive and fulfilling lives. This organization participated in the second cohort of our ‘Transcend+NewSchools Collaborative’ – a multi-faceted nine-month program that guided districts and charter network leaders through a process to reimagine their schools.

High Tech High – Graduate School of Education

The GSE aspires to be recognized within the country and around the world as a hub of progressive practice related to teaching, learning and leadership, and as a model of thoughtful, integrated, and transformative graduate education that has a direct impact on K-12 schools.

Wildflower Foundation

Wildflower launched in 2014 and quickly grew to 12 decentralized, self-governing Montessori micro-schools. Its schools are small and teacher-led, with deep parent engagement. The model includes tools and support to launch a site and technology to iteratively learn about student actions and learning. With hopes to become a nationwide model provider, the organization intends to refine administrative support tools, broaden its impact to other schools, and extend its geographical reach.

Facing History and Ourselves

FHAO is an international education and professional development organization focused on integrating social-emotional and civic learning into humanities education. Teachers not only lead students in exploration and conversation regarding difficult histories, such as the Holocaust and Armenian genocide, but lead reflection on connection to contemporary issues . Moving forward, Facing History hopes to package their already existing content into a full, cohesive model and pilot at partner schools within their existing network.

Student Leadership Network

SLN supports three initiatives. First, The Young Women’s Leadership Schools (TYWLS) is a high performing network of all-girls public secondary schools. Second, CollegeBound Initiative (CBI) is a comprehensive college access and success program for men and women students. Last, Young Women’s Leadership Network (YWLN) is a national network of 15 all-girls affiliate schools modeled after TYWLS. For nearly 25 years, SLN has partnered with public schools to close opportunity gaps for students of color from underserved communities.

Brooklyn Navy Yard

The Brooklyn STEAM Center is an innovative career and technical training hub for 11th and 12th grade students. At STEAM, students develop robust and real industry networks and explore tangible pathways to economic opportunity, all within the industry ecosystem at the Brooklyn Navy Yard – a 300 acre industrial park that houses over 400 businesses in cutting-edge industries. This organization participated in the second cohort of our ‘Transcend+NewSchools Collaborative’ – a multi-faceted nine-month program that guided districts and charter network leaders through a process to reimagine their schools.

Catholic School Region of Manhattan

Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of New York is a network of Catholic schools which emphasizes academic excellence and welcoming communities that teach students to be life-long learners and leaders energized by fidelity to their faith and one another. This organization participated in the second cohort of our ‘Transcend+NewSchools Collaborative’ – a multi-faceted nine-month program that guided districts and charter network leaders through a process to reimagine their schools.
