The Calculus Project aims to scale seven research-supported strategies that lead to higher level math success for Black, Latino, and low income students in 10 new district partners over the next two years. The model is a unique assemblage of research-supportive components defined by its comprehensiveness, high expectations, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to sustainability. We are compelled by the fact that Adrian and his team have demonstrated the ability to partner with districts and systematically improve math proficiency (e.g., through MCAS scores in Massachusetts).
