The APTI Model is developing a K-5 literacy curriculum and social-emotional learning (SEL) framework that provides students with diverse texts and personalized instruction. The model integrates the CASEL Framework to promote SEL skills like emotional health, positive self-identity and strong interpersonal skills alongside literacy development through a four-step approach: A-Analyze, P-Plan, T-Teach, and I-Inspire. The model also aims to increase students’ academic success through collaborative learning and culturally relevant lessons.
