LEAD Charter Schools of the Newark Opportunity Youth Network (NOYN) opened two public charter schools in Newark, NJ. Both schools intend to serve 300 students at full enrollment across grades 9th to 12th grade levels. The NOYN’s mission is three-fold: (1) establish a network of schools and educational programs; (2) improve the coordination of support services; and (3) advocate for changes in policies and practices that inhibit success.
