Manager, Operations
As the Manager of Operations, Airial works cross-functionally to maximize tools and manage IT processes for the highest level of efficiency within and across the organization in service of our mission to catalyze a more equitable education system for all students.
Airial has spent the past decade of her career striving to create people-first work environments where teams succeed through streamlined processes; understanding that strong operations impacts an organization’s ability to hire, develop, and retain diverse staff equitably.
Prior to joining NewSchools, she was an operations consultant and training facilitator having led over 200 workshops, retreats, learning series, and seminars in multiple countries. She is especially proud of her advocacy work for parents who, like herself, pursued college degrees after having children.
Airial holds a B.A. in English Literature and Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley and a M.A. in Sociology from San Francisco State University. In her free time, you’ll find her on cross-country adventures with her two adult sons and rescue pup, Mia.
