Learning to Teach Community of Practice

Since 2009, NewSchools has convened a cross-sector group of teacher preparation program leaders, researchers, philanthropists, and policymakers to share best practices and problem solve around bottlenecks to innovation and systemic improvement in teacher education.  This fall, NewSchools is partnering with TeachingWorks, a new organization founded by Dean Deborah Ball and housed at the University of Michigan School of Education.  Participating organizations include:
