Lauren Martin
Lauren Martin is an Associate Partner at the NewSchools Venture Fund East Coast office, where she focuses on investment strategy, due diligence and management assistance for the firm's portfolio ventures.
Prior to joining NewSchools, Lauren was a high school science teacher at North Star Academy Charter School of Newark, New Jersey. In addition to teaching, she established the high school’s chemistry and physics courses. During graduate school, Lauren interned at Building Excellent Schools, where she designed financial models and practitioner-based, finance-focused case studies for multiple charter school territories.
Lauren holds a BA in chemistry from Princeton University and an MBA and Ed. MA from Stanford University.
