Betty Ho is an Analyst in the NewSchools Venture Fund East Coast Office, where she focuses on investment strategy, due diligence, and management assistance for the organization’s portfolio ventures.
Prior to joining NewSchools, Betty was a business strategy and marketing consultant in the healthcare sector at FairIsaac and Epsilon. Her interest in education stems from her experiences growing up in the Boston public school system and directing an after-school tutoring program for low-income elementary school students from Boston during college. Most recently, she has served on the Director’s Council for Excel Academy Charter School, the top-performing public middle school in MA. She also volunteers with the Posse Foundation and sits on the board of directors for ACCESS, a community service organization. Betty graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
