Issac Vaughn

Issac Vaugn is a Managing Director at SC Investments Consulting, LLC. He is a former partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he co-led a group that worked with technology, education, internet and life sciences companies through all stages of their growth, and venture capitalists and investment bankers. Issac specializds in the areas of corporate and securities law, including general corporate representations, venture capital financings, public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. He also has extensive experience in counseling publicly held companies on defensive measures, disclosure matters, and other complex securities law issues.
As a strategic business partner, Issac and his group offered focused resources and capabilities to meet the most critical needs of startup and emerging growth companies, including making introductions to angel investors, financiers, venture capitalists and corporate partners. He was frequently called upon to structure and negotiate mergers and acquisitions, licensing arrangements and strategic corporate alliances, as well as other innovative financing arrangements. In addition to his extensive experience working with private companies, Issac has represented issuers and underwriters in numerous public offerings.
Issac is a frequent speaker on issues related to organization and funding of new ventures. In May 2001, California Law Business named Issac as one of the top 20 lawyers under the age of 40. Issac received his law degree from the University of Michigan in 1991. Issac received his B.S. in Economics from Santa Clara University where he was a first team all-conference quarterback on the football team. Issac currently is a member of the Santa Clara University Board of Regents and Athletic Advisory Board.
